This Simplicity Replacement Mulching Plug is compatible with the Simplicity SRD310 Regent XL Rear Discharge Tractor.
The mulch plug is used to mulch the grass clippings during the mowing process. The plug is used to close the discharge opening in the mowing deck and recycle the lawn clippings back into the blade area for repeated cutting. These cuttings are eventually deposited into the lawn as fine mulch which acts as a natural fertilizer.
