Supplying a sizeable 1.2 kW to the cutter head is a 35.5 cc two-stroke air-cooled engine with new combustion technology that delivers a 20% cut in fuel consumption and a 60% cut in polluting exhaust emissions.
Thanks to Alpina’s provision of a manual fuel primer, an auto-choke system and an auto-return on/off switch, starting the engine couldn’t be easier.
The ABR 35 D benefits from a pro-duty gearbox, which not only extends product life, but also works to ensure high-torque performance. A Bump & Work mechanism means you’ll be able to advance the trimmer-head line without leaving your working position; while special transmission-shaft materials maximise durability and minimise machine-weight.
