The Suzuki DF60AVTL High-thrust Outboard – 60 hp Long Shaft is a powerful, quick and efficient outboard and has the largest reduction gear ratio in its class.
The DF60AVTL uses a self adjusting timing chain which runs in an oil bath so it never needs to be lubricated. The hydraulic tensioner allows the chain to be fully adjusted at all times.
This outboard is a high thrust version of the DF60AVTL with a large 2.42 gear ratio that turns a bigger propeller resulting in a 42% increase in forward thrust and 136& in reverse, providing the power you need for moving heavy boats.
An easy start system eliminates the need to hold the key. With one turn the system will stay engaged until the engine starts.
The tilt time system protects the boat from damage when tilting the outboard acting as both a tilt limit and trim sender, the step free, continuous system allows you to install the outboard on almost any boat.
This unique model uses the Lean burn fuel control technology to predict fuel needs from the engines operating conditions. This results in improved fuel efficiency.
